Autonomous flood detection and warning—designed to operate when conventional infrastructure may not.

The RS-1A and RS-1B are autonomous flood warning towers designed to detect rapidly rising water and provide immediate local notification to people in the area.

Built around three principles—Effectiveness, Simplicity and Resiliency—River Sentry systems are designed for locations where lives may be at risk from flash flooding, including campgrounds, RV parks, vacation properties, lodges and other remote sites.

River Sentry Towers are installed between potential flood waters and occupied areas. When dangerous water levels are detected, the system can:

• Sound a high-output audible alarm to wake and alert occupants
• Illuminate designated egress routes to help direct people away from danger
• Operate autonomously, without requiring internet connectivity or grid power
• Continue operating during infrastructure outages, using its independent power system
• Operate as part of a multi-tower installation to provide site-wide warning

The system is designed to provide a local warning at the property where the threat exists, reducing dependence on occupants receiving an alert through a phone, internet connection or centralized warning system.

River Sentry Towers are engineered to provide protection without dominating the landscape. The tower incorporates its sensing, communications and warning components within a compact enclosure, with no large external satellite dish or prominent antenna.

At approximately 8 feet tall and 8 inches square, the tower has a small physical footprint while providing elevated placement for flood detection and local warning.

The RS-1A provides autonomous local flood detection and warning for individual installations.

It is designed for straightforward deployment and operation with minimal ongoing interaction, making it suitable for properties where reliable local warning is critical.

The RS-1B adds integrated wireless communications, allowing individual towers to operate as part of a coordinated River Sentry network.

This enables:

• Site-wide activation — One tower can trigger warning devices throughout the installation.
• Upstream-to-downstream warning — An upstream tower can provide an earlier warning to downstream locations.
• Networked flood detection — Towers can share alerts across a River Sentry installation.
• RS-EW integration — Receive alerts from River Sentry Early Warning towers and automatically activate local warning systems.
• Remote monitoring and drills — Use the River Sentry mobile application to monitor the system, conduct drills and initiate emergency alerts.

One tower can protect a location. A network of River Sentry Towers can protect an entire site.
